Adore

Adore
I found this picture on my mother-in-law's camera and decided to scrap it as I enjoy scrapping pictures of my DH and DD together. I'm not sure where I was when the picture was taken or what they were suppose to be doing but it's just another display of their affection for each other.

Wacky Feet

Wacky Feet
This LO will be included in my daughter's third grade album. The Student Council hosted a Wacky Feet Day and this LO includes my daughter's feet and the feet of some of her classmates. They wore mismatch shoes and socks, some wild and wierd and others tidy and neat.

I AM GRATEFUL

Grateful
I did this LO using one of my favorite pictures of my children. It was taken on my daughter's 7th birthday. I completed this LO for the November Challenge on Scraps of Color. I enjoyed working on this LO and was pleased with the outcome because my children mean the world to me!

Mother/Daughter Duo

Photobucket
Does this picture look familiar? I've posted it before when we first got back from the Movement and Wellness Expo earlier this year. I finally decided to scrap it as part of a challenge from the Urban Scrappers board. The challenge was to use a black and white picture, two different pattern papers and add some doodling which I think I don't do very well.

Book of Me

BOM
This LO is the title page for my Book of Me album that I am working on. This challenge was restarted by ValerieH. over on the cricut messageboard. I am about five weeks behind but I do plan to continue to work on this project at my own pace as this is such an important project. I didn't include a picture on the title page because the album that I chose has the insert for a picture. Stay tuned for my dedication page!

Sista Challenges

Nubian Challenge
This card is a result of a challenge given to me by fellow scrappin' sista NubianCrafterNC from the cricut board. It involved using common household bleach as the stamp pad, and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness it had to include pink. I will probably use this technique again. October was a busy month over at the
SistasScrapToo blog and I was able to complete all of the challenges. I'm so glad that I was able to complete the challenges because it helps me with my scrappin' and offers the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and learn some new techniques.
