Weekly Update

So much has been going on that I don't know where to begin. Another blog award from Jennifer over at jennifersscrapshack.com, thanks Jennifer. I still haven't figured out how to display them on my blog yet; maybe one day. I'd like to put them on the side and not as a posts. I'm working on my scrappin' challenges as much as possible and enjoying some downtime. Stay tuned for the posting of my next project.

Generations

This is a LO of my mother, my daughter and me of a picture taken this past Mother's Day. I am so happy for the time that my DD gets to spend with her grandparents because I really enjoyed the time that I spent with my grandparents. When I was growing up I didn't spend as much time with my paternal grandparents but my husband I try a different balance with our daughter.

DAD WordBook

I made this wordbook for my husband for Father's Day from our daughter. It was alot of work but I think it came out fairly well for a first try. Thank you to the cricut MB members that provided cutfiles for the book.

Weekly Update

I want to thank Myra, Sharon and Lanita for the awards which I'll have to post later once I figure out what I'm suppose to do. I am thankful for the awards and what each scrappin' sista has added to my life.

Its Monday and I went through last week without making a weekly note on my blog. All is well but busy as usual in the life of a totally chaotic scrapper. My daughter's last day of school is tomorrow so I hope to get more done in all areas of my life.

Shirt Cards

I made these shirt cards as part of my sista weekly challenge using a u-tube video demonstration. The cards will be given to my father and my father-in-law from my daughter.

Paper Bag Album

This paper bag album was done for one of the sista challenges. I've made several different style of paper bag albums but I think I like this one best. I really like the paper and it was one of the $1 packs from Michaels. I haven't added pictures or embellishments because I haven't decided whether I'll keep it or give it as a gift.

Seven comments was left on my blog, I wrote the numbers 1-7 on strips of paper and placed them in a bowl. I had my daugher to draw a number; She drew the #3 which was the comment left by I2BZ2W8. Congratulations to Sharon and thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

Blog Candy

One of the Sista challenges for this week is that we go blog hopping and post messages. I've participated in several blog hops where blog candy is an incentive to get people to follow blogs or leave comments. Scallop Edge Dresses

Dreses for every style and taste. This was the another challenge for the sista thread, as originally shared by a SU demo. The sistas really got into this one and I think everyone had fun working on them too. This is two of the dresses that I completed, some of the details aren't clearly visible in the pictures.
