Thank You

Hello and happy Wednesday, its so cold outside and I don't feel like doing what I need to do!  Today I am doing a quick driveby afternoon share, I made this card for one of the challenges for an online crop hosted on FB by Sketch N Scrap.  I used papers and flowers from a prize package that I won so I am not sure of the company or the name of the paper pad.  I cut the sentiment using the Sizzix Celebrate Thinlit dies, the tag is one that had been previously cut so I just covered it with more paper.  Some twine and dimensional tape for the tag and this card was done!  I'm sharing this card for challenge #349 -  thank you challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends.  I am sitting here having some downtime and decided to share.  I am feeling so blessed as I had a surprise visit from my son which is just what I needed.  Today I am sharing my holiday wreath, it is actually a redo of one that I has previously done.  I decided to remove the lights and add the acorns and silver berries.  I am sharing this for challenge #434, which is their annual Anything Goes Challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you will return soon.

Friday Musings

Hello and happy Friday, looking forward to some downtime this weekend or rather maybe not.  Next week is homecoming at my daughter's school and we still need to shop.   Oh well such is life we just have to make the best of it.  Today I am sharing a card that I made using inspiration from this month's sketch #342 over at Die Cuttin'  Divas.  I used papers from the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad, stamped, heat embossed and cut the flowers using a stamp and die set  that I picked up on clearance from Hobby Lobby sometime ago.  I threw away the packaging but I think it may have been something exclusive to HL by Richard Garay, the founder of Fun Stampers Journey.  A few enamel dots and a stamped sentiment completed this card that will be going postal to one of the FB card angels.  I will also share this card for the Anything Goes Challenge #20 over at Cardz TV.  Thank you for your visit, wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Hello Thursday, more cold weather for us.  Today I am sharing some cards that I created for the FB card angel group or rather it was requested by one of its members.   The request was posted last week for kid cards so I spent some time over the weekend putting these 10 signature simple cards together.  I used a of variety papers, stickers, die cut embellishments and stamps for the sentiments.  I like how they came out and I was able to use some stuff from my stash, used the bike die and reindeer stamp for the first time!  Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Hello and happy Wednesday, cool fall temps in our area.  I'm back today sharing the final cards from my One Sheet Wonder project.  The paper came from one of the Michael's hot buy paper pads, stamped two of the sentiments and used my cricut and/SLICE to cut the other three.  The flowers and gems have been in my stash forever, used a punch for the butterflies and my SLICE to cut the embellishment on the bottom right card.  Take care and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Celebrate

Hello and happy Monday, we had lots of rain yesterday but we have cool temps and clear skies this morning.  I am back today to share a LO created using sketch inspiration from the Double Delight Sketch challenge from Soul Scrappers.  I had these pictures from an impromptu 50th birthday celebration for my husband so I decided to go ahead and scrap them.  The burgundy paper has a faint pattern and it came from some papers that I purchased from Costco some years ago.  I'm thinking I probably should have used a red patter paper instead.  The stripped strip of paper came from some scraps from one of the DCWV stacks.  I used a Heidi Swapp sticker for the title, enamel dots and the balloons were cut using the CTMH Artiste cricut cartridge.  I have mixed feelings about the paper but I'm glad that I finally took the time to document the memory.  Take care and have a marvelous Monday.

Grateful

Hello and happy Wednesday, another nice Fall day here in our area.  I quickly became bored with the one sheet wonder process but I still plan to share at least five more of the cards that I created using that process.  I usually use sketches for my cards and LOs and I am always looking for ways to use paper scraps and stick to my clean and simple style.  I really need to get my Thanksgiving cards done and some LOs.  Today I am sharing a card that I created for the Fall Fun Crop hosted by Sketch N Scrap on their FB page, I originally hoped to share all of the cards created for that crop together in one post but I'm not sure I will get the last one done.   When putting this card together I used most everything from the Simple Stores Hello Fall kit with the exception of the heart (ruined the one that came with the kit) that I cut with the Beyond Birthdays cricut cartridge and the gems placed in the center of the flowers.  Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hello

It's Wednesday afternoon, cool temps outside but warm inside.  I'm back today with another installment of my One Sheet Wonder Cards.  As I mentioned previously I made a total of 20 cards so I still have 10 more to share after today's post.  I didn't add any embellishments with these,  I just added some glimmer mist to the base and added a stamped or die cut sentiment.  I cut the hello with the butterfly using the Lyrical Letters cricut cartridge and I used some gold Smooch to color the butterfly and the other hello die was from Crafter's Companion.  Take care and I hope you'll come back again soon.

Thank You

Hello Monday, it is almost 2:00 in the morning and everyone in the house is awake.  So I decided to share a project that I worked on over the weekend.  One of my friends sent me a video last week with the one of the One Sheet Wonder card templates so I decided to try it.  There are different variations of the same concept on YT.  I used one sheet of  pattern paper, stamps, die cuts and misc. embellishments from my stash.  This project used note cards smaller than the normal A2 size cards, I made twenty cards.  Take care and have a wonderful week.

Hello and happy Friday, more rain in the forecast; not sure whether it's enough to help with the low levels.  Today's card is one that I put together for breast cancer awareness month using sketch #243 from CAS(E).  I used scraps of paper from my stash, added some glimmer mist to the card base, cut the ribbon with my SLICE machine and the CTMH cricut cartridge to cut the sentiment.  I am sharing this card for the breast cancer awareness challenges over at Cut it Up and Use Your Stuff.  Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend.

Sweet 16

Hello and happy Thursday,  more rain in the forecast for today.  Today's project share is a LO using sketch inspiration from the sketch #138 over at  Sketch N Scrap.  I love how this LO came out and I am happy to report it marks my 20th LO of the year but I still have 32 more to complete by the end of the year. I am even further behind on my card challenge but I'm just going to keep pushing.  The papers used on the LO came from the DCWV Elegant & Serene hot buy pad, I cut the title using my SLICE machine, used a WeR Memory Keepers die for the doily, and the jean flowers are from Recollections and Nicole.  Thank you for your visit, please come again soon.

Best Wishes

Hello Tuesday, more nice temps with rain in the forecast this afternoon.   I'm back today to share another card.  Today's card used sketch inspiration from the World Card Making Sketch #1 from Sketch N Scrap,  they will be celebrating all month with a new sketch each Saturday this month   I used mostly scraps of paper from my stash, the pattern paper came from an old K&Co Specialty pad; the sentiment stamp  is Hampton Arts and the cross die is a Jillibean Soup die.  Take care and have a terrific Tuesday.
